UP Health System makes donation to American Cancer Society

UP Health System has made a $6,500 donation to the American Cancer Society. UP Health System is a 2017 sponsor of Relay For Life. 

Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser cancer walk for the American Cancer Society. Relay For Life is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 20 countries who give their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer. 

Victor Harrington, Regional Director of Business Development and Marketing, and Beth Schloegel, Senior Director, Oncology Services of UP Health System – Marquette presented the check to Andrea Cassell, LMSW, Health Systems Manager with the American Cancer Society. 

Harrington said, “We are proud to be a 2017 sponsor of Relay for Life. The American Cancer Society is a tremendous organization that provides great resources for cancer patients in the Upper Peninsula.”
